I got my stiches pulled out a weeks ago:
So far so good. Everything looks good. Visiting the doctor sucks as he is just not personable at all. In addition, it is such a time kill. For example, if I have a 4:00 appointment the nurse came in, cleaned up my knee, pulled the stiches out and cleaned up the knee again in 5 minutes. Then I had to wait to see the doctor for 1 hour.
I am able to drive now. The doc said I can take off the brace but I have to be on crutches longer if I am not going to use the brace. I still have to do therapy 4-6 hours a day, ice, and elevate it.
Now the real work starts as I will be returning the knee machine and going into the rehab center to work out and have someone bend my leg….not looking forward to that at all.

I have to ask how the heck did you do that? You really did a number on your knee. Are you scared to bend your knee? I would totally be afraid that if i bent it it would open back up! Man they cut you good. That is crazy!

I hurt my knee in a bball tournament 4-5 years ago. The docs said if i don't have surgery i should be able to do normal every day things as the recovery is the hard part.
i opted for no surgery but i aggravated it again coaching jack and i just told myself to get the surgery done so i can run around with the kids. with jack getting older, i have had to tell him that i can't play tag or chase because my knee is not good.
You did a number on your knee. I think we are going to have to change your name from franchise to "has been"! Dude that is a nasty knee injury. I hope heal fast!
