Always makes me happy when the kids torture Aya….I mean c’mon who cares if you get cannon balled when you are already in the pool??
HAHAHAHHAHAHHA!! It’s just water, no need to make stink face!
"I have everything that I've dreamt of having when I was a little boy. Except, now that I'm older, I dream of even more!"
Happiness is when the kids learn something bad from Aya and not me…even though everyone always thinks the kids learn bad stuff from only me!
We were eating breakfast at the hotel and the hostess put us in a private dining area. While it was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of other customers it left us alone and service wasn’t as good. We were waiting for someone to take our order and Aya comments, “Man we are in the Rosa Park’s section”.
The kids then proceeded to copy Aya and state, “Why did they put us in the ROSE Park section? We are getting terrible service.”
Aya then says, “What is Rose Park?”
Miles, “I think they mean Rosa Park…and yeah Aya what is the Rosa Park section?”
Jack, “Yeah who is Rose Park.”
Aya, “That is your Dad’s saying.”
Miles, “That is my saying in private to you…not to the kids or for the kids to say. Way to teach them racism!!”
So the moral of the story is while I might be a jerk most of the time, Aya isn’t the nicest person either! hahahahahahhaha.
Happiness is sharing some of the finer things in life….for example, Jack enjoying his rib-eye steak medium rare and enjoying it so much at Bourbon Steak that we went 2 nights in a row!
Hmm..just noticed Jack’s hand is probably in an INappropriate place…I am sure Uncle Bryan likes this can of tasteless humor.
It is really 2 happy’s in one. One happy because it makes me happy that I take such good pictures of the kids and Aya when Aya never takes any pictures of me and the kids:
The second happy is because of this story. Aya and Jack are playing catch in the pool. Two other boys around 10 years old were playing catch as well:
First boy: Hey watch out.
Second boy: For what
First boy: That old lady behind you.
Second boy: <Turns around to look at the old lady….which was Aya>
HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHHAHA!!!
Happiness is watching Aya go down the water slide because Jack wants her to race him down the water slide:
Aya and I are happy and so proud when we watch Stacy swim. She just moved up a new level and is starting stroke instruction now:
It makes me happy to see Stacy playing Doc McStuffins and wanting to be a Veterinarian when she grows up:
It makes me happy to watch Jack getting better in baseball. I wish the team / league was more competitive but we joined this league so Jack could be with more of his friends:
I just sit back and grit my teeth and try not to say anything. I actually like being a spectator more than a coach:
Wow, 1/4 in my 100 Happy Days. My happy today is that I went to lunch with my 2 favorite regular lunch partners:
I usually don’t eat lunch with my coworkers (mostly because they don’t eat meat or drink) so I have lunch with these two bozo’s. Usually not together but today we all met up together to eat…ironically…Indian food .
Getting tricked by Jack at his school jog-a-thon fund raiser. I asked Jack, “How many laps do you think you can run?” Jack told me, “Hmm, maybe 9 or 10…probably 10 laps ONLY”.
Well, instead of paying a flat rate, I thought maybe if I pay per lap Jack will try to run harder. I asked him all week, if he would try to run more than 10. He just kept telling 9…MAYBE 10…10 tops. So I decided to go with $3 a lap.
The little sucker ran 19 laps and I ended up forking over $57 dollars!
Cheering on Jack at his baseball game…only to realize that mom and sister are too engrossed in their electronic devices:
