Jack might not have wanted to ride the big kid rides but he wanted to do the big kid carnival games…especially shooting a BB gun:
I don’t think Jack grasped the concept of what he was suppose to do…he just wanted to shoot something:
He thought he won because he hit the center star but didn’t realize that NO part of the star could be showing:

But I think Jack was jealous of the bat and he plays with it at home all the time:

The carnival had older kid rides but Jack was content on just riding the kiddie rides with Stacy:
That made it easier for me, but all the kiddie line rides were soooo slow:
The kids seemed to be having fun:

The kids went in the “obstacle course” house. Jack was ‘scared’ when he was little because he couldn’t climb the rope ladder, but Stacy made it up a-ok:

Aya fell asleep when we were suppose to go to the Fiesta La Ballona carnival so I took the kids while Aya napped. Stacy started off on the Merry-Go-Round:
And Jack didn’t mind being on the ‘kiddie’ rides:
They had this old beat tea cup ride and the kids loved it!!
They wanted to go SUPER FAST…I was getting a little woozy by the end of the ride:
I wanted to take a picture of Stacy and Jack walked in the room and said he wanted to take a picture with her as well:
Then I told him to get out of the picture so I could just take a picture of Stacy and then Jack walks back into the room backwards when I was about to take a picture of Stacy and does this:
Yes, I think it is funny….but I dunno where *they* learn it from.
Jack has been working hard at his club team basketball practice. Jack got moved up with the older kids:

Usually Jack doesn’t sweat much at basketball but now that he is working hard with the older kids he is dripping sweat:
It is nice to see the hard work pay off. Jack is the worse kid on the big kid side but when he works out with his own team he is really getting better:
Jack was the only one to make the basket to get the group to stop running sprints!
Stacy’s last week day swim class before school starts was a test day. Stacy nailed it and passed with flying colors:

My parents took the kids to the zoo. They must have went on a good day because they were the first ones in the zoo.

We picked a great time to join a Dodger season ticket group a few years ago when the Dodgers sucked. It has been great going to games this year. We are slowly getting more games each year. I think the first year we only had 2 games. Then 4 games and I think this year we have 7 games.
Luckily for us, we got the Tampa game AND Kershaw pitching:
Even though Jack is just there for the food, he is at least getting into the game spirit!
Best part was the Dodgers won. Second best part, Aya got ALL the food…which was almost every inning for the first 6 innings and the Dodgers scored in 5 of the 6 innings when Aya was in line getting food!! hahahahhaha!
So Dad messed up. Aya and I took a day off to hang out at the pool with the kids.
Unfortunately, Stacy had a swim test the next day and we spent so much time at the pool that Stacy was too tired to take her swim test:
I don’t know where she learned how to dive into a pool:
But it sure looks painful!!
Face-plant!! It must not hurt because Stacy never complains…she just likes hanging out at the pool:
